Flynn Creek Circus has come back to Capitola with their holiday comedy, The Heavy Drift. Blaze Birge, the artistic director of the show, started as a two-person trapeze act with her husband. The pair now travel across Northern California and Oregon with their circus act. They emphasize that they do not feature any animals, unless you count humans in costumes.
The Heavy Drift features “the Private Detective with his savvy assistant, Patsy, (as they) take on a mysterious case that leads them down a delightfully strange path during the Winter Storm. The show features acrobats, aerialists, and a variety of other entertainers.
The big tent will be set up in the parking lot of the Capitola Mall. Popcorn and cotton candy, beer, mulled wine, and hot chocolate are all available for purchase.
The final show will be on January 5. General tickets start at about $20 while senior tickets are half price. Parking is free.

Hi Ralph, I took two friends to Love Thai and we didn't love it. The food tasted okay but we all preferred our personal favs: Pacific Thai (PG) and Bhan Thai in Seaside. Service was not great considering that we were one of three small groups in restaurant, that seemed weird. We agreed that we would not come back again.
