The Wienermobile is coming to town!
The Oscar Meyer Wienermobile will be coming to our tri-county area starting today (Wednesday, November 11, 2020). The schedule leads the Wienermobile to Santa Cruz County on November 11, Watsonville on November 12, Monterey and Pacific Grove on November 13, Salinas on November 14, and Aromas on November 15. Anyone who visits will be able to take pictures, answer trivia for prizes, get a wiener whistle, and be able to buy a mini-hot dog on wheels. Monterey County had been counting on tests that had not been reported to the state, but showed more negative results. Santa Cruz county was moved back from orange tier to red tier. Certain indoor activities will be reduced to 25% occupancy, while others, such as retail stores, can remain at 50%.
